“EQA is introducing a Peer Mediation program where students are trained to recognize, manage, and become masters of their reactions and interactions. A dedicated staff member will be responsible for training and supporting our students, managing the logistics of the referrals, and collecting and analyzing data to insure continual program improvement. EQA students will gain valuable personal leadership skills including but not limited to: communication, negotiation, relationship building, listening, and responsibility. They will also contribute leadership to the community by being role models, giving voice to their classmates, and setting a tone for how our community handles conflict.”
