“Obstacles…Options…Outcomes: The Perspectives project is designed to provide students who have had chronic discipline problems with an alternative to suspension while improving their social skills and strengthening their emotional development. Perspectives team members will actively contribute to the development of scenarios relevant to the daily obstacles faced by today’s young people. Participants will have an opportunity to apply their social and emotional learning training when they facilitate discussions about the potential options and outcomes of these conflict-based scenes during interactive theatrical presentations performed before their peers, school staff and families.”
