Greece Central School District
Rochester, NY
“In an effort to rid our educational system of racial inequities and to eliminate the trend of the school-to-prison pipeline for our Students of Color, the Greece Central School District has committed to forming a Regional Equity Network (REN) to improve outcomes and reduce disproportionality for our students. REN is an educational justice movement that will provide a forum, through a 3-Day Institute, Monthly Collegial Circles, technical assistance opportunities and large scale community events. Our end goal is for our participants to understand their responsibility to disrupt current practice and mindset and eliminate barriers when it comes to educational equality, so that students, particularly our Students of Color, are ensured the best opportunity to succeed.”
