““Thinking Outside the Classroom: Integrating Adventure Education at Cumberland Regional” will support the development of SEL awareness and competencies in the Cumberland Regional school community by establishing an Adventure Education program and experiential learning opportunities utilizing low and high ropes courses at Cumberland Regional High School (CRHS). The CRHS Freshman Seminar/Senior Mentor and Peer Leadership programs will utilize experiential learning to enhance established curricula using their mentorship framework. The initiative will integrate Adventure Education into the classrooms and school cultures across the Cumberland Regional educational network to empower hundreds of students through fun and challenging SEL-focused experiential learning opportunities.”
