“Who am I? Who are we? Where did my family come from and why? How do I fit into this community? These are questions sixth graders ask to discover who they are. This project will invite students to tell their stories to build shared and positive understandings of their identities. Students will work with a storyteller to find their personal voice, learn the interpersonal skills to share their own stories and build empathy for and understanding of their peers. By partnering with Changing Worlds, we will empower another generation of students to discover and reflect on their journeys.”
