“Fargo Public Schools will use the SEL in Action Award to contract with a Restorative Practices Facilitator. The Restorative Practices Facilitator will improve equitable outcomes by furthering staff capacity in proactive strategies, including development of relationships and classroom community, and reactive strategies that build students’ competencies. Staff will then empower students to focus on relationships as they solve conflicts in a restorative manner. The consultant will also provide an aerial perspective of how restorative practices can better inform district initiatives, policies, and procedures. The goal is for restorative practices to become part of the district’s culture.”
