“We will be working with Rachel Poliner, to establish a cohort of “train the trainer” teachers in order to embed SEL into our daily instruction and interactions with students, with a focus on being able to expand this work to more students in SY 2021-22. The cohort would be working to gain capacity in their embedded SEL techniques, as well as developing a plan for how to best train colleagues in this practice. The cohort will also meet for a book study of Teaching the Whole Teen: Everyday Practices That Promote Success and Resilience in School and Life.”
