“The Opportunity Adventure Program provides a safe space for our students experiencing significant trauma to develop the social-emotional skills necessary to make a positive change in their lives. Our aim is to help students navigate their hardships while developing essential skills and creating lasting relationships with peers and consistent, caring adults. This grant will fund more outdoor and off-campus excursions and supplies, as well as supplemental classroom materials and incentive prizes for cooperative team building activities and collaborative projects.”
