Be the Peace Be the Hope seeks to address the most pressing social and emotional needs of our students and wider school community at Sutton Elementary. We recognize that COVID-19 has exacerbated and created new problems in our school community, and that many of our students are experiencing trauma. We hope to address the challenges expressed by our school community and build engagement and support-networks through an interactive, creative project that utilizes different art forms, social and emotional learning techniques and technology. Our goal is for our students to become more resilient, and feel more connected, supported and safe.
