The School District of Palm Beach County will implement "Providing Mirrors and Windows for All Students." Select elementary, middle and high schools will pilot clubs that will empower students to intersect the lessons of the past and contributions of Black, Hispanic, and LGBTQIA+ individuals that often go unknown or under-acknowledged with current curriculum and teachings. Acting as agents of change, students will examine intersectionality across these groups and suggest curriculum resources that provide windows and mirrors for all students so they acquire knowledge of themselves and others. At the end of each school year, clubs will come together for a culminating event to present their projects, which serve to elevate student voice.
