“Using the SEL In Action grant, we are going to create a GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) where students of all identities can meet, build relationships with each other and LGTBQIA+ identified teachers/staff, and feel empowered to create school change from the bottom up. I want students to lead the charge—creating an anti-bullying campaign, standing up for their peers and changing the culture of our school from the inside out.”
