“Iroquois Elementary School will host local New American artists to share their art, music and culture in a multi-day residency. This lets us celebrate cultural differences but also demonstrates our common humanity. Students who have been here for generations will appreciate the New American students but also understand their own immigrant roots. Our New American students will feel welcome, learn about the cultures of the others students, and will share their culture with others.”
