“The school's Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CNA) identified connecting with families and involving them in data analysis and decision making as one of the primary needs. The school ELD Department has been on the forefront of community collaboration as our families arriving from around the world have the highest need to be informed, educated and supported in their quest to become part of the local community in their new country. Starting with the Open House, the Department members and our students' families get to know one another, provide mutual assistance and cooperate through multiple yearly activities that encourage the children's high quality education and preparedness for the 21st century careers.”
