““Expanding Senior Mentorship to Integrate SEL at Cumberland Regional” will enhance and broaden the reach of the Cumberland Regional High School (CRHS) Freshman Seminar/Senior Mentor program. The program partners incoming at-risk freshmen with role model Senior Mentors to develop positive habits, comfort accessing vital resources and SEL competencies. The initiative will allow CRHS to nearly double course enrollment, implement professional development across the Cumberland Regional consortium, conduct Senior Mentor visits to partner schools, host an SEL Day and Freshman Orientation at CRHS for incoming freshmen, and expand family engagement programming to encourage integration of SEL strategies in students’ home lives.”
