“The Morning Class is a before-school program designed to equip teenagers with the life skills necessary to succeed academically, socially, emotionally, professionally and economically. The program is built on five essential components:
1. Mind, Body, Spirit
2. Vision Setting
3. Healthy Relationships and Interpersonal Communication
4. Leadership & Service
5. Financial Management
By giving the students space and confidence through experiential learning, students are able to identify and manage their emotions, create a clear and compelling vision board, practice the art of communication, identify an issue in the community they would want to solve and create a financial portfolio plan.
