“The Wellness Center, staffed by 1 LMFT and 3 Wellness coaches, provides the following services.
1) Tier 1 immediate (social and emotional 911) response to the classroom.
2) Tier 2 ongoing case management linkage and brokerage services, individual student coaching, Cub Connection social and emotional wellness classes, Four Cub Connections clubs (Outdoor, Fitness, Create and Build My Future), 1 NBA Team for 5th Grade boys, and a summer social and emotional wellness activities for TK through 8th Grade students and their parents.
3) Tier 3 Student, Parent, Individual, and Family therapy.
4) WE Parent Academy, in partnership with Northern California Colleges, featuring technology, communication, parenting, social emotional and mental health classes.
5) Weekly outreach activities such as coffee, breakfast, and lunches with parent(s), grandparent(s), guardian(s).
6) Innovative local District SARB Board, held on campus, to provide County DA. County Probation, School, Mental health, and medical support for students and their families.
7) Quarterly Coordination of Programs Quintile meetings with all teachers to discuss and explore every student's education, social and emotional needs and develop short-term and long terms response options.
8) Family Support Team meetings to review student and parent needs to support the student as they strive to reach their education, social and emotional goals.”
