“"Different Like Me" is a school-based social emotional initiative that encourages students to reflect on their identities and incorporate diverse perspectives into the classroom. Students will learn about their similarities and differences and take action in their local and global school communities by creating a more inclusive learning environment. Students will engage in a variety of activities that foster a strong sense of self and empathy toward others. Students will feel empowered from understanding their roots and advocating for more inclusive spaces within the school community.”
