“Our greenhouse and garden provides a safe and inviting atmosphere for all students at school to find purpose and acceptance. We teach job skills and social skills. Students build planters, plant crops, socialize and assist each other in the garden area and are beginning to interact more in the general education setting. Food production and distribution has united various sectors of the community in a productive way. Our garden area is open to all students, teachers, community volunteers and local businesses in an effort to promote acceptance and education.”
