“Our project is an afterschool club called the 'Movers and Makers Club' for our 1st and 2nd graders. Each advisor will have a small group check-in/check-out time to talk about how everyone is feeling and offer support to those who need it. Our club will teach kids a variety of gross motor games and activities that promote teamwork, cooperation and communication. We will also teach a variety of creative fine motor activities to help enhance our school environment as well as provide opportunities for students to learn healthy leisure skills.”
