“Castro Valley Unified School District is seeking funds to provide Trauma Support Groups to high-risk students at Castro Valley High School who have experienced a traumatic event such as severe bullying, death, abuse, or assault. The Trauma Support Group serves at-risk teens, 13-18, struggling with emotional and behavioral difficulties. The groups will be held during lunchtime at the Castro Valley High Wellness Center, opened in 2017 to provide mental health, mindfulness and other wellness programs to students and staff.”
