““Engineering” a Stronger Future for Women is designed to create confident young women who are comfortable with who they are and in their futures. Participants will meet weekly after school. Guest speakers will present monthly to expose participants to options available to them in their future career paths. Also, life skills and problem solving will be gained as the young ladies participate in engineering challenges such as 3D printing, robot design and programming, rockets, bridge design, and CO2 dragsters. Participants will also participate in field trips including a trip to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights.”
