““I Am MORE (Making Ourselves Resilient Everyday)” is a culturally relevant, youth-empowerment organization that operates at the intersection of racial equity, social and emotional learning and post-traumatic growth. Our strength-based programming moves youth from trauma and self-doubt from being overlooked, unseen and unwelcomed, to empowered resilience, which is the capacity to not only bounce back higher, stronger and better, but to use one's renewed sense of purpose to inspire and empower others. Providing culturally-relevant programming for students of color is extremely urgent and essential to helping them navigate beyond political, economic and social systems designed to oppress them.”
