“The Mt. Adams School District SEL project is designed to facilitate the development of a learning environment that fosters the social and emotional growth of its unique student body. We intend to achieve this goal by deepening teacher understanding of historical trauma and the role of local values, practices and traditions in learning while enhancing teachers’ use of trauma-informed practices and positive behavioral supports.”
