By age 14, girls are dropping out of sports at two times the rate of boys. The goal of this project is to motivate and encourage girls to stick with sports by offering specialized training in athletics, non-competitive activities and student mentorship for the 9th grade incoming freshmen. Student mentors will grow in leadership, ability to express their ideas in groups and will give back to their community.
