Partnering with Global Game Changers (GGC), the Superhero Educators + Superhero Students = A Partnership in Student Empowerment to Ignite Good! Project narrows the 6,000-hour achievement gap facing Title I students by the time they enter 6th grade. This inventive out-of-school time extended learning program teaches philanthropy as a tool to promote deeper learning experiences; improving students social-emotional competencies with a fun and engaging superhero-themed curriculum that encourages students to IGNITE GOOD!® (do something nice without expecting anything in return) in their community by adopting the empowering Superpower Equation: MY TALENT + MY HEART = MY SUPERPOWER!™.
