This project is a multi-pronged plan to see an increase in the visibility and celebration of minority populations; increase all students' cultural competency; and increase the mental health, pass rate, and graduation rate of our focal population by providing the following: Professional development for counselors on trauma-informed practices; scholarships for focal population to attend credit recovery and credit repair; scholarships for Cultural Writing Programs; and culturally diverse texts to diversity of our language arts curriculum.
