Practice Makes Perfect
The SEL Blog
The Glisson Project is a restorative justice project for elementary students incorporating a SEL curriculum with mentoring and community service components. We will implement a student-led restorative justice committee to resolve student conflicts that will incorporate a community service component as an alternative to suspension. We will also provide professional development opportunities for our teaching staff to instruct them in best practices for implementing a social justice and social-emotional learning curriculum. We will also incorporate breathing, meditation and other mindfulness practices into our daily schedule for all students.
