Practice Makes Perfect
The SEL Blog
With a high prevalence of Namaste students living in multigenerational families, this project will bring SEL practices and build compassion in the home through a multigenerational intervention approach. As a student-led initiative, the idea is to build skills within Namaste’s students that foster student agency and leadership not only in the school community but at home. The workshops will allow the multigenerational households to work through challenges to promote healing from certain forms of trauma and harm that are associated with the topics being discussed at each workshop.
