The SEL Blog
The Girls Mentoring Program strives to implement a model mentoring program that will close the opportunity and achievement gaps that results in confident, empowered, and successful young women. Our mission is to provide mentoring to young women of color that will help them navigate relationships, emotions, and the world around them by providing social, academic, and cultural experiences. Through life lessons workshops, community service projects and college visits and field trips we plan to use these funds to expose middle and high school girls to the multitude of postsecondary and career opportunities available to them.
